By using, as well as authorizing in mobile applications, on the sites (as well as their subdomains) or any other Asterium Ltd. products ("Services"), you are entering into a binding agreement with Asterium Ltd. ("Asterium") and your use of the Service is subject to these Terms of Use ("Terms") By using the Services under your Asterium account, you agree to these Terms for yourself and for any user to whom you authorize to use the Services under your account. By using the Services, you agree that you are 13 years old or older. The services are not intended for persons under 13. If you are under 13, you must obtain the permission of your parent or legal guardian to use the Service. Use of the Services for commercial purposes is prohibited. Use of the Services outside of these Terms is prohibited. Asterium reserves the right to change, suspend or terminate the Services at any time without any liability and may update these Terms without notice. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Services. By continuing to use the Service, you are expressing and acknowledging your acceptance of such revised Terms.

1. Overview

Asterium provides GPS monitoring services. The services include mobile applications for iOS, Android and Windows Phone, personal account on the website https://ionsat.ru, chatbots in Telegram, Viber, Whatsapp. With the Services you can monitor the location of your navigation equipment ("Equipment") such as GPS trackers, personal trackers, kid smartwatches with GPS, smartphones connected to your account. The current location of the Equipment is displayed in the form of labels on the interactive map, which is provided as part of the Services. The accuracy of the location can be affected by various conditions, such as radio interference, weather conditions, Equipment features and settings. GPS/GLONASS positioning in the open air gives the highest accuracy. In rooms and in other conditions of limited reception of the satellite signal, positioning with low accuracy is used with the help of base stations GSM and WiFi networks with an error of up to 3 km. In some cases, the location of the Equipment via WiFi networks can give a false and unpredictable result. The services are designed taking into account the functioning of the whole world, while access to the Services requires access to the Internet, the same applies to the User Equipment. Some features of the Services may not be available with older versions of Hardware, sites, mobile applications, or other SOFTWARE. Asterium reserves the right to update, change or discontinue the Services at any time without notice.

2. Registration

To access the Services, you must have an account in Asterium. The account can be registered to email, or you can use authorization through a Google Account, Facebook, VK.com. Different methods of authorization in Asterium provide access to different accounts. This means that from one user's device you can log in using Google and Facebook, but from the perspective of Asterium it will be different accounts. Despite the fact that the Asterium is not directly prohibits the transfer of registration information to third parties to gain access to the account, Asterium not take any responsibility for such transmission and its consequences. The user must take all possible measures to protect his registration data from falling into the wrong hands. Asterium reserves the right to refuse to register a new account or to terminate an existing account without explanation.

3. Notifications

The user of the account will receive notifications about all events occurring with his Equipment. Events can be sent to the user's smartphone in the form of PUSH notifications, e-mail, SMS or messenger app. Notifications can include the following data: text and voice messages, images and video files, alarms, Equipment events, and other data.

4. Connecting Equipment

Supported Equipment can be connected to the user's account for free for 7 days ("Trial period"), or for a one-time payment with a full guarantee refund within 7 days from the date of connection. The Trial period is available only 1 time for the user account and unique Equipment ID. Re-use of the Trial period for the same account or Equipment ID is not allowed. The fee is charged once for each device connected to the user's account. Re-connection of the Equipment will require re-payment. For current users, Asterium guarantees the connection of a new device in exchange for a failed one free of charge when contacting support@asterium.ru.

5. Support

Any user can count on technical support from Asterium when contacting support@asterium.ru or through a special web portal: qa.asterium.ru. The Asterium guarantees a response to incoming letters, claims and questions within 72 hours. This time may be increased in the event of force majeure, technical failures, frequent handling or duplication of requests by the user, or for other reasons. Asterium reserves the right not to respond to user requests, if they are made in a rough form, contain profanity and contradict the generally accepted culture and norms of correspondence.

6. Termination

Asterium reserves the right to suspend the provision of Services if the user, using the Services, imposes the legislation of the country, the Russian Federation or uses the Services provided in violation of this Terms.

7. Disclaimer of liability

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

8. Changes to Our Terms of Use

All changes to this Terms of Use are effective when they are posted on this page. When we change the Terms in a material manner, we will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Site, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "last modified" date at the top of this page.
