regarding the collection and processing of a child's personal data in the Honkling application

This document informs the parent or legal guardian about the collection of personal data from a child in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
The Honkling application is operated by Asterium Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"). The application enables parents to monitor their child's safety through their mobile device.
When the Honkling application is installed on a child's device, the following categories of data may be collected:
(a) Location — device coordinates obtained via GPS and cellular networks, used to display the child's current position on the parent's map.
(b) Ambient audio — real-time audio streaming from the device microphone, initiated at the parent's request. Audio recordings are not stored on the Company's servers.
(c) Device information — device model, operating system version, battery level and charging status.
(d) App usage statistics — the list and duration of applications used on the child's device.
(e) Activity data — movement type (walking, driving, stationary) used for travel notifications.
The application does not require the child's real name, email address, or any other contact information. The device is linked via a one-time code provided by the parent.
The collected data is used solely for: providing the parent with information about the child's location and safety; generating event notifications (low battery, leaving a designated area, etc.); maintaining the application's functionality and resolving technical issues.
Usage statistics of the Honkling app (usage events, device information, errors and crashes) are collected only after the parent has given a separate consent to usage statistics in the parent app, and only to find and fix errors. Before consent and after it is withdrawn, the app does not send statistics.
The Company does not sell a child's personal data to third parties. Data may only be shared with infrastructure service providers (hosting, push notifications) and, where consent to usage statistics has been given, with the AppMetrica statistics service (Yandex LLC), operating under data processing agreements and solely to the extent necessary for the application to function.
You have the right at any time to: request information about the data collected in relation to your child; request the deletion of that data; revoke consent by sending a request to support@asterium.ru. Upon revocation, the Company will cease data collection and delete previously collected information within a reasonable timeframe.
By installing the Honkling application on your child's device and activating it with a pairing code, you as the parent (legal guardian) confirm that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and this notice, understand what data is collected and how it is used, and consent to its collection and processing.
